My wife's Birthday is two days before mine..
So on Saturday we went out for a meal, had the biggest tastiest steak I've ever had!!
Plus copious amounts of the cold stuff... lovely

I think I'm done with the beer, for now at least.

My Birthday was the first time I'd touched a drop since New Year

I had been overdoing it a little, I only used to have a drink at the weekend, maybe 6 bottle of lager on a Friday, same on a Saturday and a couple on Sunday.........ok, probably more than that
Not bad I thought, then I might of had a couple on a Thursday eve, and if there was any wine left over from the weekend, that usually got finished off on Monday.
Leaving only Tuesday and Wednesday as dry days

I decided to try completely giving up for a bit, and to be honest, I dont mind it...
In fact I'm quite partial to a tomato juice now instead...

Clear head in the mornings, not feeling as sluggish, saving money and surely getting fitter to boot.
and giving me more energy for my other favorite past time, competing in motorcycle trials

Thanks Juan. When you get as old as me, its just another day. Had a couple beers, Tyler bbq'd some steaks. It was cool.
